 Today we learned about the poet Emily Dickinson. 

 In class today we presented a summary of our origin myths. The whole class had to present their own stories. They all sounded interesting. It was interesting how everyone chose their characters and their themes to their stories. There was a lot of themes based of jealousy which was funny to see because mine was also some what about it as well. But, since class was short we only got to present.

In class we turned in our stories of our origin myths and the explanations. We also started a jamboard as a class. In the jamboard we own have our own slides. We have to write a summary of our origin myth that we wrote and also write about the elements and the characters in our stories. That’s all we were able to do though is class was very short. 

 Today in class we took a test on a origin myth. I did well on it I was the top 3 to get a good grade I’m so glad. The story was about a boy who turned Into a robin. Basically the beginnings of the first robin ever. As for the rest of the class all we did was continue working on our own myths and reviewed over the test.

Today was a longer day since it was block day. We didn’t have class yesterday so I wasn’t able to write a blog. In class I was able to type my origin myth and my explanation all in docs so I can be ready to turn it in. That’s all we did in class so we had plenty of time to do it. I really like how my story turned out I’m just hoping I did good on it. 

 Today, was also a very short day. We went over origin myths. We even read a origin myth all together in class and started to make our own. Mr. Rease even showed us examples and an example of his before we started to know what to do. It seems very interesting I hope my origin myth of how the world and humans are made goes. 

 Today, in class we continued the notes for Native Americans. We even went over it and reviewed over it. This time we didn’t have much in class since we got a new schedule. So everything went by quick. I was still able to learn a bit more of the native Americans so everything went well. 

 Today in class we discussed about Native Americans. We toke notes about them. It was a short class though, because of the schedule. I learned more about Native American and learned the difference between myths, legend, and religion. The rest of the class we just watched a video. 

 Today we had a test on an article. The test was 14 questions. The article was about video games and how it be affecting kids and teens. I learned that some kids play games and get addicted which causes them to not pay attention and not to well in school. I also learned from the article that there are some kids who play just to relax in some way. 

 

 Today in class we read an article. We highlighted , circle unfamiliar words , asked questions about the article. The article was based on dress code in school. Later, on Mr. Rease gave us a piece of paper with a question on it and he used a random name chooser to choose are names. Lastly, people’s names got chosen and everyone had to answer their question.

 Hi, my name is Jacqueline Rocha. I’m hoping to become a nurse that’s my biggest goal and to be able to complete all the years with all straight A’s. I hope to be able to go into a good college. I also hope to get good grades on tests and be able to learn quicker and get the understandings quicker so I can get prepared for the years to come. I desire to learn more on how to become a good writer.
