 Today in class we did a test on the poems we have been doing. We also got an assignment to do our own poem of our culture. I was able to see that even though all the poems we did I still wasn’t able to get the poems memorized because I didn’t get a good grade(I tried). I liked how we was able to do our poem in class and have till Monday. Today my day was alright.

 Today in class we read a poem a longer poem. It was about America and it talked about the roles and issues America has had. I was able to learn things I didn’t know before through this poem. I liked how we did it all in class so no one was left behind. Today my day was alright. 

Today in class we completed the worksheet Mr Rease gave us on Friday. We worked on it independently. I was able to get in practice with this which helped. I liked how we had the whole period to do it and able to also turn it in tomorrow if we didn’t finish. Today was an ok day. 

 Today in class we went over 2 poems we had already gone over  and we went over 1 in class and 1 individually. We had to find a theme and explain it and unanswered question as well as arguments. I was able to learn quickly from this I actually liked it. I liked how we were able to not do much and finish in time before class ends. Today my day was alright.

 Today in class we did a poem on Mother to Son by Hughes. We also did questions on the poem. I was able to learn more on poems or how to better understand. I liked how we did it as a group and easier to do the bell ringer like this. Today my day was alright.

 Today in class we went over a poem that was about dreams. We also did a paper about planning or plans on our future dream or what we want to become. I was able to learn more on how I can layout what to do. I liked how we did this in class and able to write stuff about it because it helped me notice things. Today my day was alright.

 Today in class we did our black history bell ringer. We also did poems again on “I,Too” and “Refugee in America”. I was able to learn about the new person we talked about as well from the poems message. I liked how we went over the poems and able to all talk over them with each line. Today my day was alright.
